June 2012 Annual
Workscope

In addition to an annual inspection,
the following items were
accomplished:
1. C/W Piper SB 1006, Removal of
wing tanks and inspection and
treatment
of affected areas with Dinotrol AV8.
2. Replaced fuel supply hoses in
wing.
3. Replaced fuel vent hoses.
4. Replaced fuel sender gaskets.
5. Replaced both fuel tank sump
drain valves.
6. Installed wing tanks using SS
screw kits.
7. Replaced fuel strainer gasket
462-049.
8. Replaced fuel gascolator bail
wire assy with new part.
9. Replaced all seals and rod end
bearing in NLG retract actuator.
10. Replaced all seals and rod end
bearings in both LH and RH MLG
retract actuators.
11. Rebuilt both brake calipers
using new "O" ring MS28775-222.
12. Replaced both brake discs with
brand new Cleveland Discs p/n-
164-02000
13. Replaced all brake linings
66-105.
14. Replaced both main tires and
tubes 6:00X6 6ply
15. Replaced nose tire and tube
5:00X5 6ply
16. Repacked all wheel bearings.
17. Replaced both MLG assist
springs.
18. Replaced inner and outer NLG
arm assy springs.
19. Replaced NLG assist spring.
20. Replaced VAC reg filter
AAB3-5-1.
21. Replaced central VAC filter
AAD9-18-1.
22. Replaced Alternator belt
23. Replaced induction air filter
element BA10.
24. Replaced horizontal stabilator
tips.
25. Removed cleaned and
inspected both MLG drag links and
replaced
hardware as needed.
26. Replaced fitting upper forward
cockpit LH side found very rusty.

27. C/W Piper SB 1156 NLG Drag
link bolt replacement p/n - 402-940.
28. Removed and inspected
exhaust system and repaired heat
shroud as
necessary.
Reinstalled using new ex gaskets
and STD1410 nuts.
29. Replaced all AN4 bolts in
spinner backplate.
30. Cleaned and painted NLG
steering rods.
31. Replaced all close tolerance
bolts in NLG torque links.
32. Replaced all close tolerance
bolts in MLG torque links.
33. Removed NLG from aircraft.
Cleaned, painted and replaced
hardware as
needed.
Reinstalled using new bolts and
hardware.
34. Installed airframe hose kit from
Precision Hose Technology.
35. Removed Narco ELT10.
Removed mounting tray and
treated area for
corrosion. Painted area with zinc
chromate.
Reinstalled mounting tray and
installed a serviceable ELT10.
Replaced ELT battery pack p/n -
Aviall BS2166
System tested per FAR 91.207
para.D. All cks good. Batt next due
for replacement SEP2011.
36. Replaced forward NLG drag link
bushings p/n - 67026-007 2ea.
37. Replaced grommets on P/S
lines in left wing.
38. Serviced NLG strut with fluid
and air.
39. Replaced NLG downlock bolt
and sleeve.
40. Secured RH MLG retract
actuator fitting at wing spar attach.
41. Removed, overhauled, and
reinstalled both magnetos.
42. Removed and reinstalled wing
step and painted wing walk area.
43. Removed, overhauled, and
reinstalled RSA-5A Fuel Injector
Servo
44. Removed NBR2 and NBR4
cylinders to facilitate inspection of
camshaft
and cam followers. No rust or
pitting noted.
Re-installed cylinders using new
gasket kits.
45. Cleaned and gapped spark
plugs.
46. Cleaned fuel injector nozzles.
47. Replaced all flexible fluid lines
in engine compartment with engine
hose kit from PHT.
48. Filled hyd powerpack reservoir
with MIL-H-5606 fluid.
49. Filled brake reservoir and bled
brakes completely.
50. Checked stall warning system.
51. Checked operation of pitot
heater.
52. Checked operation of all
exterior lights.
53. Cleaned up area under rear
seats.
54. Replaced forward dorsal fin
faring.
55. Removed static wicks and
replaced rusted screws and
installed new
rivnuts where needed.
56. Replaced aileron attach screws
57. Cleaned and painted rudder
horn.
58. Painted stab attach steel
fittings in aft fuselage area.
59. Replaced screws around
windshield as needed.
60. Painted rear wing attach points.
61. Removed RH flap and painted
flap pivots. Reinstalled with new
hardware.
62. Cleaned and painted flow
divider mount bracket and eng
hoist lug
found rusty.
63. Replaced flap handle cover
and adjusted Auto Gear Extend
switch.
64. Replaced VAC pump. Found
shaft sheared. Installed O/H Rapco
215CC.
65. LH MLG gear down light is too
dim. Replaced switch. Performed
gear
retraction test and emergency
extension test.
66. Found LH and RH inbd aileron
pulleys frozen in wing root area.
Replaced pulleys, bushings, and
bearings.
67. Cleaned and treated corrosion
at strobe power supply.
68. Replaced rivnuts and nutplates
as needed at windshield collar.
69. Lubed up TACH cable.
70. Lubed engine control cables.
71. Flushed oil cooler and
replaced attach hardware.
72. Replaced stabilator fitting to
spar attach bolts AN4 inside
stabilator.
73. Cleaned and painted stabilator
balance tube and replaced
hardware as
needed.
74. Checked oil suction screen.
75. Changed oil and filter. Added 8
qts AeroShell 15W50 oil and
CH48110-1 filter.
76. Replaced installed new fuel
tank placards.
77. Reinstalled KX170 NAV/COM
radios.
78. Repaired copilots carpet panel.
79. Replaced EGT meter found
inop. p/n - ALCOR 46150.
80. Replaced NBR4 cylinder rocker
box cover gasket found leaking.
81. Adjusted idle speed.
82. Replaced fitting AN833-4D in LH
wheel well found leaking brake
fluid.
83. Secured loose LH wingroot seal
84. Replaced rusted screws at oil
access door.
85. Replaced clamps on fuel
injector lines as needed.
86. Tied off cables and hoses in
eng compt as needed.
87. C/W AD 2008-14-07 by
inspection of fuel injector lines.
